40" x 48" A view of the Birmingham from the corner of 17th Avenue and 14th Street. I used a little artistic license because you really can't see the city quite this well from here. At least when the trees are in leaf you can't.

(36" x 40") This is a painting I did earlier in the year but I have changed it. There was a sign on the building that I decided I didn't like so I have painted it out. I like the simplicity of it.
Just finished this commission for my friend Lynn and I think it turned out great. It's just the type of scene I would have chosen to paint. What is it about a bungalow that makes it feel so welcoming and comfortable?
Twelve of my paintings will be on display at the Hoover Library, downstairs gallery, through June 2, if you'd like to see my latest work. First day of Summer was inspired by a scene on the curve where 29th Street South meets Rhodes Circle.
