24" x 20" This is one of the commissions I was working on for Christmas. A smaller piece that captures their favorite part of their house and the shadows cast by a huge oak in the front yard. This one went to Memphis, Tennessee.
18" x 24" (sold) It's time for the Kentuck Festival in Northport, Alabama, October 20 & 21, 9 to 5 both days. The weather should be beautiful and the arts and entertainment are always great. Hope to see you there!
24" x 30" I couldn't pass up the opportunity to paint all the bright colors in these umbrellas. I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted anything. I've been busy getting ready for all the upcoming Fall shows. Artwalk in downtown Birmingham starts tomorrow, Friday Sept. 8, 5:00pm - 10pm, and Saturday noon -6:00. I'll be in Lindsay Office Furnishings, 1st Ave. North.
30" x 24" (sold) I have wanted to paint this church for a long time and last Sunday I happened to drive up from the back and I saw this view which I really like. I love the way the street is in deep shadow but the sun is hitting the building.
(sold) I haven't painted many cityscapes but I've painted the Title Building twice because I love the terracotta color. I used a photo I took one Sunday as reference for this and when I took it to a show someone pointed out that the red car is going the wrong way on a one way street.
24" x 30" (sold) I saw these houses on a hill in Crestwood one day and I liked the angle of the view from the street and the steps leading down to the sidewalk.
